About Senior and Co Tamarind Liqueur

Senior & Co has been making liqueurs on the Caribbean island of Curaçao since 1896, and it is best known as the original maker of the famous Curaçao orange liqueurs. The house produces its spirits at Landhuis Chobolobo, a nineteenth-century country mansion in Saliña. This tamarind expression is inspired by the local Curaçao tamarind drink known as Warapa, capturing the island’s sweet-tart fruit in liqueur form. It is a genuine piece of Curaçao heritage in the glass.

Tasting Notes

Tamarind brings a wonderful balance of sweet and tangy, with dark, almost caramelized fruit and a bright, sour edge that keeps it lively. Expect rich, sticky-date sweetness woven through with that signature tamarind tartness, smooth and unusual in the best way.

What to Pair It With

This is a great after-dinner curiosity. Sip it neat or over ice as a digestif, or let it shine in a cocktail where its sweet-tart fruit can play. It is a fun close to a meal from the Sparrow dinner menu, especially after something with a little spice or smoke. Pull up a seat in our 21+ lounge and try it slow.
