About Klinker Brick Rose

Klinker Brick is a family winery in Lodi, California, run by the Felten family, whose roots in Lodi grape growing stretch back several generations. They launched the Klinker Brick label in 2000, beginning with old-vine Zinfandel, and the winery has become known above all as a Lodi old-vine specialist. Lodi sits in California’s Central Valley and is one of the warmest, most historic grape-growing areas in the state, with a deep heritage of gnarled old vines. This rose comes from Lodi County and reflects the winery’s house style: fruit-forward but balanced, and always finished dry. This is the 2022 vintage. We love keeping a serious, food-friendly rose like this on the list for our Kirkland neighbors, because a good dry rose is one of the easiest wines to enjoy.

Tasting Notes

Red berry notes with hints of tropical fruit. True to the Klinker Brick style, it keeps an exceptional balance of freshness and aromatics while still delivering a dry finish. It is bright and crisp, never sweet, with just enough body to feel like a proper glass of wine rather than an afterthought.

What to Pair It With

Dry rose is one of the most flexible food wines there is, equally happy with seafood, salads, and lighter mains. From the Sparrow dinner menu, enjoy it with the Burrata Avocado, the Spring Arugula Salad, the Guajillo Chicken, or the Scallops & Prosciutto. It is also a great pour out on our four-season dog-friendly patio and at weekend brunch.
