About Cascahuin Blanco

Cascahuin is a family distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco, in the valley (lowland) tequila region, one of the oldest agave growing areas around the town of Tequila. The Rosales family has been distilling here for generations, and the brand carries over 100 years of tradition behind it. Cascahuin is widely respected for its traditional, craft approach, which has made it a favorite among bartenders and agave enthusiasts. As a blanco, this expression goes unaged so the character of the agave and the terroir comes through clearly, with nothing from a barrel to get in the way. It is the kind of tequila that has earned a loyal following among people who care about how the spirit is actually made.

Tasting Notes

This is a tequila that leads with big agave notes, backed by herbs, grassiness, citrus and a snap of black pepper. It is bright, lively and savory, the kind of blanco that shows why valley agave is prized. The texture is clean and the finish is crisp and peppery. Enjoy it neat to appreciate the detail, or in a cocktail where that agave punch can shine right through the other ingredients.

What to Pair It With

Bright blanco tequila is made for fresh, zesty food. From the Sparrow dinner menu, pair it with the Tuna Tartare, the Lamb Quesa-Birria Tacos, or the Guajillo Chicken. It also makes a crisp Margarita or our Juanita-Rita. Swing by during our daily happy hour from 3 to 5 PM.
