From Sparrow’s agave list, Casamigos Reposado is a smooth, barrel-rested tequila that drinks beautifully neat or in a Margarita ($17 by the pour, or $25.50 for a larger pour).
About Casamigos Reposado
Casamigos is a Jalisco tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico. The brand began as a private project between friends before becoming one of the best known names in the category. For the reposado, the tequila is rested in oak, the menu notes up to seven months, which softens the spirit and layers in barrel character on top of the cooked agave. The word reposado means rested, and that time in barrel is exactly what gives this tequila its signature smoothness. The result is a richer, more rounded style than the brand’s blanco, while still showing the cooked agave at its core.
Tasting Notes
This is a reposado built for easy sipping. Look for caramel, honey, maple and cocoa, with the oak adding vanilla and barrel complexity. It is a less citrus and vegetal driven expression than the blanco, leaning warm and dessert-like while staying true to the agave underneath. The finish is soft and gently sweet, which is a big part of why this bottle has become such a crowd favorite for both newcomers and longtime agave fans.
What to Pair It With
Agave spirits love bold, savory food. From the Sparrow dinner menu, try it alongside the Lamb Quesa-Birria Tacos, the Guajillo Chicken, or the Tuna Tartare. It also makes a standout Margarita or our Juanita-Rita. Catch our daily happy hour from 3 to 5 PM, or settle into the 21+ lounge for a slow sip.
