About Sparkman Cellars Wilderness

Wilderness comes from the well regarded Sparkman Cellars in Washington’s Yakima Valley. It is built on a base of Yakima Syrah and rounded out with Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mourvedre, a Rhone-leaning blend that gives the wine both power and lift. It is a true Pacific Northwest red, made just a few hours east of our table in Juanita.

Tasting Notes

Expect a rich and smoky glass with bold fruit up front and a complex range of earth and barrel notes underneath. The Syrah brings dark berry and pepper, while the Petite Sirah adds depth and grip. It drinks full and savory, the kind of red that rewards a slow evening at the bar.
