About Monson Ranch Rye
This is a 100% rye whiskey made from proprietary rye grown on Monson Ranch in Washington State, with master distiller Brian Morton overseeing the spirit. Monson Ranch Distillers is led by generations of the Monson farming family together with Morton, working from the family ranch and a distillery in Eastern Washington. Because they grow the grain and distill it themselves, they control the whole process from the field to the bottle, which is exactly the kind of local craft we love to pour here on the Eastside. It is bottled at 93 proof.
Tasting Notes
Bold and full flavored with pronounced spice notes, just as you would hope from a 100% rye mash. The all-rye recipe gives it a robust, peppery backbone and plenty of grain character, making it a satisfying pour for anyone who likes their whiskey with some real presence.
What to Pair It With
This is a sipping rye first and foremost. Try it neat, over a large cube, or built into a Manhattan or Old Fashioned in our 21+ lounge. Its spice stands up beautifully to the American Wagyu steaks or the Sparrow-Smoked Rack from the Sparrow dinner menu. Our daily happy hour runs 3 to 5 PM with $3 off well drinks.
