Grey Goose

From Sparrow’s vodka list, Grey Goose is a world-famous French vodka and a name our guests know well, $12 by the pour, or $18 for a larger pour.

About Grey Goose

Grey Goose is a French vodka created in the late 1990s by American businessman Sidney Frank, who set out to build a super-premium vodka from France rather than Eastern Europe. The wheat is grown in the Picardy region of France, and the spirit is finished in Cognac, where the original recipe was developed by maitre de chai Francois Thibault. That French pedigree, with the wheat milled and distilled in France and the spirit blended with local water, helped make Grey Goose one of the defining premium vodkas of the modern era, and it has earned its place on our shelf.

Tasting Notes

Made from French soft winter wheat, Grey Goose is known for being exceptionally smooth and rounded, soft on the palate with a clean, gentle finish and a subtle hint of sweetness. It is a polished, approachable vodka, lovely chilled or in a classic cocktail, and its crowd-pleasing smoothness is a big part of why it became such a familiar name.

What to Pair It With

Vodka is bright and mixable, so it pairs naturally with fresh, briny bites. From the Sparrow dinner menu, enjoy it with the Fresh Oysters, the Tuna Tartare, or a crisp salad. It also makes a clean martini or a light spritz, and our daily happy hour from 3 to 5 PM takes $3 off well drinks in the 21+ lounge.
