About Casamigos Blanco

Casamigos was founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman, who set out to create a tequila they wanted to drink themselves while spending time in Cabo San Lucas. They found a distiller in Jalisco, Mexico, the heart of tequila country, and the name is a blend of the Spanish words for house and friends, fittingly, house of friends. The brand has been owned by Diageo since 2017. This Blanco is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave that is slow roasted in traditional brick ovens, the unaged expression that shows the agave at its purest.

Tasting Notes

The taste is fruit driven, with hints of vanilla and grapefruit. It is famously smooth and approachable, with a clean, almost sweet finish, which is a big part of why Casamigos became such a popular sipping and mixing tequila in such a short time.
