About Browne Botanical Gin
Browne is a Northwest gin built around native regional botanicals, made by Browne Family Spirits. It leads with juniper, lavender, rose hip, and angelica, and is made with glacier water sourced from the Spokane Valley Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer. That clean local water and the soft floral botanical mix give it a distinctly Pacific Northwest character. The lavender and rose hip in particular nod to the wildflowers and hedgerows of the region, while juniper keeps it firmly in classic gin territory. It is the kind of regional craft gin that fits the Eastside neighborhood feel here at Sparrow.
Tasting Notes
Browne is straightforward and balanced. Juniper anchors the gin while lavender and rose hip add a gentle floral, lightly sweet lift, and angelica keeps it grounded and dry. It is smooth and easygoing, equally at home on its own or in a bright cocktail.
What to Pair It With
A soft, floral gin loves fresh, briny bites. From the Sparrow dinner menu, enjoy it with Fresh Oysters, the Tuna Tartare, or a Spring Arugula Salad, or build it into a floral martini or spritz. It is a lovely pour in our 21+ lounge, and our daily happy hour from 3 to 5 PM takes $3 off well drinks.
