About Brovo Boomerang

Boomerang was developed in collaboration with bar legend Micah Melton from The Aviary in Chicago. This complex liqueur combines various fruits and spices with notes of toasty walnut. It is made by broVo Spirits, a Seattle distillery known for its craft liqueurs and vermouths, which makes it a true neighbor here on the Eastside. The name comes from bar culture, where a boomerang is a drink one bartender sends to another as a sign of respect. Keeping a Seattle-made pour like this on the list is a small point of pride for us in Kirkland.

Tasting Notes

This is a layered liqueur built on cherry and other fruits, woven through with warm spices and a distinctive note of toasty walnut. It is rich and complex without being cloying, the kind of pour that keeps revealing new flavors.

What to Pair It With

Boomerang is excellent sipped neat after dinner, or as the backbone of a cocktail in our 21+ lounge. Its fruit and spice character makes it a great finish to a meal from the Sparrow dinner menu, especially after one of the American Wagyu steaks or the Sparrow-Smoked Rack. Ask the bar to build it into an after-dinner cocktail.
