Batch 206 Vodka

From Sparrow’s vodka list, Batch 206 is a Seattle craft vodka we are glad to pour for our Eastside neighbors, $11 by the pour, or $16.50 for a larger pour.

About Batch 206 Vodka

Batch 206 was founded in 2012 in Seattle, named for the city’s iconic area code. It is a hyperlocal distillery built around Pacific Northwest raw materials, and this vodka is made from locally grown corn. The distillery has since become Old Log Cabin Distillery under new ownership, but Batch 206 spirits carry on the same hometown spirit, which is just the kind of close-to-home story we like to share at a neighborhood restaurant in Kirkland. Pouring a name made right across the water in Seattle is part of what makes our list feel rooted in the Pacific Northwest.

Tasting Notes

Corn-based vodka tends to pour soft, smooth, and gently sweet. Expect a clean, rounded character with an easy finish, a versatile vodka that is just as good chilled in a glass as it is in a cocktail. It is an unfussy, easy-drinking pour that suits a relaxed evening in the lounge.

What to Pair It With

Vodka is bright and mixable, so it loves fresh, briny flavors. From the Sparrow dinner menu, enjoy it with the Fresh Oysters, the Tuna Tartare, or one of our salads. It also makes a clean martini or a light spritz, and during our daily happy hour from 3 to 5 PM you can take $3 off well drinks in the 21+ lounge.
