About 1 2 3 Tequila Uno Blanco
1 2 3 Organic Tequila was launched in 2010 by tequilero David Ravandi and is certified organic from estate to bottle. The Uno is the blanco of the family, made from 100% organic blue agave harvested at peak age in the lowlands of Jalisco and cooked for nearly two days in traditional brick ovens. Sustainability runs through everything 1 2 3 does. The brand uses hand-blown recycled glass bottles and soy-inked labels featuring the work of local artists, and minimal heavy machinery is used in the harvest to limit soil and water impact. The result is a tequila that tastes of the land it came from.
Tasting Notes
As an unaged blanco, this is the purest expression of the agave. Look for bright, fresh cooked-agave flavor, a touch of citrus and green pepper, and a crisp, lively finish. The slow brick-oven cook adds a gentle sweetness without any heaviness.
What to Pair It With
A clean blanco is a natural match for bright, zesty food. From the Sparrow dinner menu, try it with the Tuna Tartare, the Lamb Quesa-Birria Tacos, or the Guajillo Chicken. It also shines in a Margarita or our Juanita-Rita. Catch our daily happy hour, 3 to 5 PM, in the 21+ lounge.
