About Bale Breaker Five Star Dive Bar
Bale Breaker Brewing Company is a Yakima Valley brewery with deep roots in Washington hop country. The Smith family first planted hops in the valley back in 1932, and Bale Breaker opened in 2013 right in the middle of the family hop farm, run by siblings and their families. The brewery’s name comes from the bales of hops that left the farm for generations, headed to brewers around the world. Now they break those bales and brew the beer themselves. Five Star Dive Bar is modeled after the most popular beers in the world, a no-fuss light beer built for everyday drinking.
