It is a quiet luxury for the designated driver, the brunch crowd, and anyone who simply wants a beautiful glass of water on the patio.

About Acqua Panna

Acqua Panna is a natural spring water that flows from a protected source in the Apennine hills of Tuscany, north of Florence, on the historic Panna Estate near Mugello. The water spends roughly fourteen years filtering slowly through layers of ancient rock before it reaches the surface, which is what gives it that gentle, balanced mineral character. The spring has a long history too, as the surrounding estate dates back to 1564 and was once held by the Medici family of Florence. It is the kind of still water sommeliers and chefs reach for when they want something soft and unobtrusive, and we love having it on the list for exactly that reason.

Tasting Notes

Acqua Panna is a still water known for a smooth, soft, and rounded feel, with a light, balanced minerality and no fizz. It is easy and clean, the sort of water that lets the food and the company do the talking.

What to Pair It With

A great still water goes with everything, and it keeps your palate fresh between bites. From the Sparrow dinner menu, pour it alongside the American Wagyu steaks, the Wild Alaskan Halibut, or a plate of Fresh Oysters. At weekend brunch it is lovely next to the Cinnamon French Toast or Eggs Benedict.
